"We have a small back garden which was waterlogged, facing north east with a backdrop of a brick wall and higher up wooden fence. All in all rather a nightmare to do something with. We interviewed Paul Kendall who took us through a detailed and flexible design process, one in which we were encouraged to participate. Throughout the build, Paul remained flexible and his true artistic and creative skills became more and more apparent. There was minimal disruption and all debris was cleared at the end of each day. Any mud was hosed off so that none was transferred into the house – an important factor as we had just re-carpeted the whole house. The subtle blend of paving, stone edging, boulders and gravel was accomplished by sourcing from a variety of suppliers. Paul’s knowledge and skill was very professional as indeed was his skill in choosing and siting a variety of plants. The end result has been widely admired by friends and neighbours. This was a first-class demonstration on how to convert a completely useless back garden into something which is relaxing, attractive and a pleasure to sit in. I cannot recommend Wyre Landscapes enough."

"Year followed year followed year .......and at the beginning of each year the message was the same: 'This time we will get the garden right'. We tried and we tried and we...and at the end of each year, we failed! Overwhelmed by the poorest of poor soil and annual winter flooding we were never going to succeed on our own. Instead of our garden being our peaceful haven, it was our never-ending heartache.
Next, we called Paul.
Detailed plans were sketched and discussed and we thought our bedraggled garden could never look like that! Could it? From day one, we recognised not only Paul’s attention to detail but his meticulous attitude to ensuring it would be right. Paul does 100%; anything less is not an option. We not only asked for extras to be undertaken but we decided the front garden also needed a dramatic overhaul. Now we love our beautiful dry stream effect. Not forgetting the latest edition – our very own hand-made stone urn which, next year, will be decked with alpine flowers. Finally we were finished – or so we thought. Paul wasn’t convinced. And he was right. This year he returned to build a back garden pergola which will be covered with honeysuckle, roses and clematis. No longer does year follow year follow year....We have the garden we dreamed about but dared not hope for. Paul is the genius who rescued us and, with his calming character, he is a joy to have about our garden. Do we recommend Paul? Reading this – what do you think? Paul is our gardening saviour!"
