How we work

Step one: We’ll meet with you

When we meet you for the first time, we'll talk through your ideas and expectations.We’ll walk round the garden with you and explore how to make the best use of the space. We'll think about what special features could be incorporated into the design and what styles would best match your home and your needs.

At this stage we might want to sketch the garden and take some photographs, and we’ll need to get some rough measurements too. We’ll also bring a portfolio of work with us to give you a flavour of what we can do, picking out elements that might work in your garden.

Step two: Design presentation

This is the exciting bit. At this point we’ll present a hand-drawn proposed layout of your new garden. It will show areas of hard landscaping, planting and any special features. We’ll also discuss the types of materials we could use for the hard landscaping. We've got lots of experience of coming up with plans to suit different house styles, garden sizes and soil types.

Once you’re happy with the final plan and price, we’ll give you an estimated start date.

Step three: Construction

On site, we’ll begin by marking out any patios, pathways, lawn, planted areas and any special features. This gives you the first opportunity to visualise how your new garden will look. Throughout the build we’ll continue to consult with you to make sure you’re happy with the way things are going. You might find that we come up with some new ideas along the way, or you might have some of your own.
